Safeco is changing their name to Liberty Mutual.

Safeco Insurance was acquired by Liberty Mutual Insurance® in 2008 and retained the Safeco brand name. We believe we can bring greater value and best help our customers by combining into one brand. While the Safeco name will be retired, Safeco customers will keep their agent relationship, and their policies will not be impacted other than the name change.

For now, there is no action required by you. We will keep you informed through future communications.

We are committed to a seamless transition for you as our customer. Please review our frequently asked questions below.
